The BS in Computer Science program provides the student with a strong background in theoretical and practical aspects of computer science. This program emphasizes the understanding of computing activities which include object-oriented programming with concentration on problem solving, algorithm development, data structures, design, abstraction, experiment, and application of the principles and methodologies of the development of computer system. The course aims to develop skilled computer scientists with the technical background and knowledge to develop well-designed, robust, computer-based solutions to a range of problems in sciences, business and industry. Computers are now used in virtually every aspect of modern life; as a result, career opportunities for computer scientists, systems consultants, systems analysts, programmers, software engineers, database designers, administrators, and computer science educators are extremely diverse.

The BSIT program provides a broad-based education that integrates the practical and conceptual approach providing students with a solid foundation in information technology arena. The objective of the program is to develop professionals who understand the role of information in organizations and have the necessary skills in information system and information technology. Special emphasis is placed on the analysis, configuration, programming, and database aspects of the design and implementation of a computer-based business information system. Students in this program will demonstrate their knowledge of the systems development life cycle through the hands-on creation of an applied project to solve an identified business challenge. Completion of this program will enable students to seek careers in information-intensive organizations as information systems designers, systems consultants, IS manager, systems analysts, programmers, network engineers, database administrators, decision support specialists, and systems integrators.

The BS Information Management provides a multidisciplinary approach to management and problem solving based on the need for a holistic approach to decision making in the modern workforce.  Students are prepared to be competitive for positions in industry, commerce, and government. Curriculum includes a foundation in business, accounting, economics, statistics, communication, technology, and management theory. The students of this program are focused on effective management of resources - people, money, and computer facilities.
